so it looks as though i'll be reworking those three pages for Hey, Mister that you see below.
the head honcho at Top Shelf felt that i should spend more time working on the subtleties of comic book illustration and that it would be in the best interest of the overall product for me to keep on practicing until i feel that i've really hit my stride. that way, said stride won't be absent from the first chunk of the book.
i'm a little relieved, as i felt that i pushed these first pages out like a big bm instead of letting them ease out like a little bm.

Ryan, does that mean you will be redoing and resubmitting or that you need more practice before you become the official illustrator? It sounds like you are pleased with the feedback? What are the "sublteties" of comic book illustration? I will be around tomorrow if you want to google chat.
